The NY Twisters is an informal group of balloon twisting enthusiasts in the New York City area who share balloon sculptures, swap stories, and help each other grow as artists. A Lil’ History
In 2003, I started gathering my New York City balloon twisting friends to share balloon sculptures, swap stories, and help each other grow as artists. We remain an informal (and FREE) group without dues, bylaws, or red tape. At one of our balloon jams you will meet local pros, fans, hobbyists, and even amazing guests from all over the world. Balloon twisting is a wonderful interactive art form, and it is best learned “hands-on”. Everyone has something to teach, and something to learn. And all are welcome.
